Montblanc 1858 Ice Sea Automatic Date 41 mm Ref. 129370
Montblanc’s first sports dive watch, the Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date, features a dial with a “glacier” pattern that gives the impression of looking into the depths of a glacier. This blue dial with “glacier” pattern is inspired by the Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice), the main glacier of the Mont Blanc Massif. Its texture was achieved using an almost forgotten ancestral technique called grattรฉ-boisรฉ. The timepiece features a unidirectional two-tone ceramic bezel, an engraved case back, and an interchangeable blue rubber strap with fine adjustments. The timepiece complies with the ISO 6425 standard for diving watches and is water resistant to 300 meters.
