The Speedmaster is one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces. Having participated in all six lunar missions, this timepiece perfectly embodies the brand’s adventurous and pioneering spirit. The 40.5 mm model, inspired by the legendary original 1957 model, features a stainless steel case and a black dial with recessed hour markers with vintage Super-LumiNova underneath. In addition to “Broad Arrow” hands with a rhodium-plated finish, it features a date window at 6 o’clock, a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, and 12-hour and 60-minute chronograph counters on the sub-dial at 3 o’clock. The brushed bezel features a burnished tachymeter scale, while the flat sapphire crystal case back with interior anti-reflective coating features the “Speedmaster ’57” engraving. The watch comes with a matching bracelet equipped with OMEGA’s patented convenient adjustment system, and is powered by the hand-wound OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9906.
