Elvis Presley, nicknamed “King of Rock’n Roll,” is still considered one of the greatest cultural icons of the 20th century and a symbol of an entire generation. Born in 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, and moved to Memphis, Tennessee, Elvis Presley is remembered as one of the most famous musicians and actors ever. The shape of the gold-finished writing instrument and clip recalls a car engine spark plug, inspired by Elvis’ passion for V8 engines. The “EP” logo pays homage to his iconic sunglasses. The top of the cap bears the words “ELVIS” inside the white lacquered Montblanc emblem, while the motif on the platinum-finished cap pays homage to one of his gold rings. The lacquered eagle decoration on the cap is inspired by the famous cape worn by Elvis during “Aloha Hawaii,” while the cone is engraved with a quote from him, “Ambition is a dream with a V8 engine.”
