The Montblanc Donation Pen collection pays tribute to the most celebrated classical musicians of the past. The Donation Pen supports carefully selected cultural projects by pioneering artists from around the world by donating 20 euros for the purchase of each fountain pen and 10 euros for the purchase of each ballpoint or rollerball pen. This year’s edition pays tribute to George Gershwin, American composer and pianist. The clip is shaped like a clarinet: an homage to the overture of Gerswhin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” played by a clarinet. The cap ring is decorated with an image of the Brooklyn Bridge, symbolizing George Gershwin’s close connection with his hometown. The body and cap are made of fine black resin with platinum finish details. The special gift box also contains three prints of the Brooklyn Bridge.
