The Portugieser Chronograph is one of IWC Schaffhausen’s most iconic models. At 41 millimeters in diameter, it fits any wrist, yet the slim bezel gives the impression of wearing a significantly larger watch. The clear and functional dial sports applied Arabic numerals and elegant leaf-shaped hands. Featuring a printed quarter-second scale, the réhaut not only allows for an accurate reading of chronograph times, but also recalls the origins of the Portugieser, which began as a nautical precision instrument. This model features a stainless steel case, silver dial, and blue applied hands and is complemented by a black alligator leather strap. Inside the elegant sports chronograph beats the IWC-manufactured 69355 caliber. Precise and durable, the classically designed column-wheel chronograph movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
